Yoel Yogev
Chairman

Yoel Yogev is President and CEO of El-Gev Electronics Ltd. After a successful career in Electronical Design and Project Management, Mr. Yogev moved into sales. There, he  worked in various sales and support capacities with a number of companies, including Intel, Philips and IDT. He later established El-Gev, one of Israel's most successful electronic components and sales/distribution organizations. Yoel holds a BSc in Electronical Engineering from the Technion University, Haifa, in Israel.

Dr. Oded Sagee
Founder & CEO

Dr. Oded Sagee founded and managed AquaAgro Lab Ltd., an investment subsidiary of the AquaAgro Fund. They invested in agro-high-tech companies, in the clean-tech industry. Before that, Dr. Sagee held management, sales and R&D positions at Gaon Agro Industries Ltd, Phytech Ltd, and AminoLab Ltd.

Dr. Sagee has in-depth knowledge in the fields of agriculture, biotechnology, life sciences, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. He completed his Ph.D. in Plant Physiology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and served as a senior researcher and head of department at the Agricultural Research Organization, Volcani Center, Israel. Dr. Sagee has published a number of papers, has extensive experience and proven track record in the areas of finance, venture capital, international business, consulting and management.

Prof. Haim Rabinowitch
Chief Scientific Advisor

Haim Rabinowitch is Professor Emeritus at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, The Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and The Robert H. Smith Institute of Plant Science and Genetics in Agriculture. He previously served as Dean of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and Rector (Provost) of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His main research interests include physiology, genetics and breeding for yield, disease resistance, quality, flavor and long-shelf-life in tomatoes and in short-day onions. In addition He studies floral and fertility restoration in garlic, seed production: physiology and genetics of pollination and fertilization processes.

Drora Balaga
Product Manager 
Drora Balaga, a Certified Systems Analyst (CSA), has, for the last 25 years lead the development of the “Breed IT” project. She previously worked as R&D senior system analyst and software implementation leader at BonTom, the tomato breeding team at the R.H. Smith Institute of Plant Sciences and Genetics in Agriculture, The R.H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment (FAHU), and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI).  Ms. Balaga holds a BSc. in plant sciences from HUJI; one earned the Kaye Prize for innovative research at HUJI and was presented with the Excellence Award by the Israel Chamber of Information.  Since 2009, Ms. Balaga has been teaching the graduate course “Breeding Information Technology” at FAHU.
Yahali Sherman
Chief Technology Advisor

With over 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Since 2007, Yahali Sherman served as Chief Architect of the Portal Portfolio at SAP Labs in Israel and is responsible for 4 products.  Before that, Yahali was co-founder and VP of R&D in a P2P content management start-up.  From 1993-2004, he worked with Radview Software, a vendor of Web testing and performance tool, as VP of R&D and CTO and remained there throughout the entire IPO process.  Prior to that, he served for 3 years as a consultant in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) area and 6 years as an officer in the Israeli Defence Forces, where he headed a number of software development projects. Yahali hold a BSc. in mathematics and computer science from Bar-Ilan University, Israel.

Oded Gilboa

CFO

Mr. Gilboa is a finance executive with extensive experience in the hi-tech and biomed industries, with specializing in corporate finance, strategic planning, SOX compliance and operational and financial management. He began his career at IDT Corporation, where he spent over nine years holding financial management positions both at IDT Israel and IDT's corporate headquarters in the USA. Subsequently, Mr. Gilboa spent six years holding executive finance positions at several multi-billion dollar companies, including Taro Pharmaceuticals and Mylan Specialty, a subsidiary company of Mylan Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Gilboa began his career in public accounting, auditing both public and private companies and holds a BA in Economics and Accounting and MBA both from Tel Aviv University,  the faculty of Management and and a MBA from Recanati School of Business Administration.
